A380 madness

Courtenay I'm jealous about your snow trip, hope it's fantastic. I think the main phrase you need is "beer" which I believe is pronounced something like "beer-des"?? But I'm sure hand waving will work too.
Having heard all the brou-ha-ha about the A380 imagine my excitement when we were approached by the Qantas marketing folks to cave a replica for the inaugural Sydney to London flight! It was quite tricky to make I must say, but lots of fun.

I rode on the A380 from Singapore to Tokyo as well!! Was all very exciting - I didn't recall much of the flight as I was so tired I slept 90%o of the trip - I guess thats saying something about the seat comfortness!

japan and satyam?!

hey guys - its been a while since I have written in the forum - come on guys - keep it alive!! Josie and I are in Japan at the moment - spending a few weeks in a resort called Nozawa Onsen which is near Nagano (site of the 1998 Winter Olympics). Its a pretty fabo place - much more authentic then some other ski resorts. There are hardly any crowds and the snow so far has been amazing.....trying to communicate with people who dont speak English is challenging but also fun - there lots of hand waving and pointing at stuff!

The area is also renowned for its onsens whivh are sooooo relaxing - nothing like getting nude with 5 other blokes in hot water!

Michael - seems like you left Satyam at the right time! Sounds like a scandal worthy of Enron?!
