Hi Guys,, seems the three of us like keeping in touch.. cool.. cool for SD with the ice and cool for CLS with the snow.. and now cool for me as well.... as it was minus 10 where I was for two days last week............ have a guess....... a 10 hour flight.. non stop.. sadly I have no interesting pictures as I was in meetings from morning to night .....and it only got light after after I woke up and was dark before I went to bed..... I may have even more news soon. :-) this picture from my hotel room..

As for Melbourne Cup.. I think not.. but she is running wild and fast.... and a very happy little horse :-)

MD - the foal is SO cute - Shall we be looking out for it in the Melbourne Cup in a few years time? :)

SD - Funnily enough there is an Ice Carving Competition here in Breck in late January (22-27 Jan). Its called the "International Snow Sculpture Championships" and involves teams as far away as Morocco, Belize, Japan, Canada, Scandinavia, Russia, China and Wales. Wonder if they can get last minute Australian entry? Surely it could count as a "business trip" and you could write it off? Have seen it for the past 2 years and the entries are pretty good. Here is a pic of one of the winning entries last year....

Made it!

Well I made it through my first Silly Season in the catering/entertainment industry. For those of you wondering what it's all about, here's a photo of me (and Rob) in action. Yes, I wield a chainsaw in public! And get paid. Scary stuff. This was taken at Bondi Sculpture By the Sea, you'll never guess what we were carving.

So sorry I couldn't make Xmas drinks, I forget how many deliveries we did that day but I do know we did 1/6 of our annual turnover in December. But January hasn't been as quiet as I thought either, not that I'd complain when business is good. Hope everyone is doing well, Courtenay I am SOOOOO jealous! Maybe I'll have to find an Ice Carving convention in Denver so I have an excuse for a business trip...
